TAPP members joined other political organizations on campus to attend the L.A. March for Science!

Syrian Sticker Fundraiser: 4/21/17 (Friday) from 12-2pm, Leavey Library patio

TAPP helped teamed up with Students Organize 4 Syria to fundraise money for victims of the recent Syrian chemical attacks. Volunteers handed out computer stickers to donors.

Peaks with Professors: 4/16/17 (Sunday) from 9am-3pm, Monrovia Canyon

TAPP hiked with Professor Kammas, our faculty advisor!

Beach Bonfire: 3/26/17 (Sunday) from 2pm-6pm, Dockweiler Beach

TAPP’s first social event was a success! We played some sports, made a bonfire, and had a great time getting to know each other better.

Cookies ‘n Calls: 3/6/17 (Monday) from 10am-2pm, Trousdale

TAPP had 31 students who are concerned about environmental legislation call their senators and representatives to make their voice heard. Everyone who participated not only fulfilled their civic duty, they also got some of our own homemade cookies.

Free the People Immigration March: 2/18/17 (Saturday) from 9am-1pm, Pershing Square

As a group, many students traveled to Pershing Square and marched in this rally. The students enjoyed the march, letting their voices be heard. Moreover, it was heartening to see so many people engaged with the political process!

Postcards for Representatives: 2/15/17 (Wednesday) from 10am-2pm, Trousdale

Collaborating with Delta Phi Epilson, USC’s premier foreign-service fraternity, TAPP encouraged and helped students contact their representatives. Over 60 postcards and 150 flyers were handed out! The event was covered by USC Annenberg, and the article, featuring one of our founders (Jacob Lind), can be read here.

USC Day of Action: 2/3/17 (Friday)  from 11am-2pm, Trousdale

In the midst of rain and wind, TAPP volunteers persevered and had a successful event. We handed out over 300 pamphlets, talked to many students, and really had fun as a group. Moreover, during the event, our organization was interviewed a total of three times by various publications, including the Daily Trojan, which wrote about our event here.
